Under direction of the Director of Digital Marketing, assist in the development, management and execution of digital marketing plans and tactics for all business-to-business and business-to-consumer lines of business (LOBs). The development of these plans requires thorough knowledge of the functional areas involved, the competitive environment, leading digital marketing practices within the space and familiarity with the financials, goals and objectives of the units assigned.

Position does not have direct Profit & Loss responsibility, but shadow accountability for revenue growth and driving lower cost to serve/acquire. Expected to work closely with Digital Channel leaders as well as the Insights team in measuring and tracking performance and volumes against established goals. Serve as a key liaison between marketing team members and digital/social team members. Responsible for the daily interface and operations of the digital marketing team to ensure that digital marketing channels are fully coordinated with marketing activities within specific campaigns and across the marketing team as a whole. Must be able to manage the execution of the tactical digital marketing and social media plans developed in support of annual business objectives. Balance competing priorities and changing conditions across the regional footprint of the organization.

Responsible for producing the analytics dashboard and managing the reporting processes for digital marketing and social media campaigns and will be called upon to present results to a variety of audiences across the enterprise. Develop and maintain strong relationships across a wide range of constituents, including business/functional unit leaders, front line colleagues as well as key internal partners including Public Relations, Operations/IT, Legal/Compliance and the other Marketing support functions (Creative Services, research, analysis, tracking and reporting (Corporate Intelligence and Marketing Insights), Digital Channels, etc.)

This person will also:

  • Create and deploy digital marketing strategies and execute digital marketing plans to support customer acquisition and brand awareness objectives across the LOBs to include digital media, SEO, PPC, Social CRM, the Associated Bank website, email marketing and emerging digital marketing tools. Execute on-page and off-page SEO. 
  • Work with key partners to facilitate and oversee the analysis of the customer/client and prospect universe within assigned business units in order to provide strategic insight and market opportunities for the lines of business: Identify and target optimal prospects and customers; Execute digital promotions that deliver against financial and production expectations; Collaborate with vendor partners to capitalize on identified opportunities; Utilize market research to inform lines of business as to customer priorities and market opportunities 
  • Manage digital marketing activities in the daily execution of digital components of marketing programs/campaigns, direct response initiatives, and other go-to-market strategies. Analyzes and assesses the performance of campaigns and translates quantitative and qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaign strategy. 
  • Advance the organization’s digital orientation by leading and participating in select projects that improve our digital marketing success rate, expand our digital marketing universe and improve our overall marketing leverage across the enterprise. 
  • Work across marketing teams to develop and manage focused digital marketing support when needed in order to increase the profile and results in strategically identified campaigns. 
  • Identify and manage external vendor relationships to deliver digital features/functionality as desired. 
  • Stay up-to-date with latest changes in digital and social media marketing as well as direct marketing practices. 
  • Create, categorize, and refine keyword lists to create a comprehensive campaign that drives qualified visitors to Associated Bank.com website and supports in-flight marketing campaign efforts.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Marketing. Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Communications. Required

Experience:

  • 7-10 years Marketing or advertising agency, database marketing firms, etc. Demonstrated success in many forms of digital and social media marketing including but not limited to content marketing, digital advertising, SEO, PPC, re-targeting, social media, on-line communities & web analytics. Required 
  • 4-7 years Digital technologies, website management within a content management system, website and user experience testing and quality assurance tools and e commerce solutions. Required
