Are you passionate about Marketing and Communications? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our Communications function. As a Digital Communications Specialist, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. The Digital Communications Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the development of external, digital marketing content to support key growth areas for S&C Electric Company. This position requires good written, verbal, and visual communications skills. The Digital Communications Specialist position reports to the Manager – Digital Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a variety of online contentdesigned to increase traffic to the S&C website. 
  • Curate, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives. 
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the social media calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery. 
  • Coordinate and optimize paid digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, focusing on target audience segmentation, keyword selection, and bid management. 
  • Utilize a variety of web analytics tools to measure the performance of digital marketing efforts, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders. Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI. 
  • Stay current with industry best practices, monitoring competitors’ digital footprint, and offering strategies for continuous improvement 
  • Ensure all digital communications adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and best practices, maintaining S&C’s reputation and compliance. 
  • Build strong partnerships with Creative Services, Editorial teams, and outside vendors to execute content. 
  • Identify and engage with industry influencers and thought leaders to collaborate on content creation and expand S&C’s reach. 
  • Foster an active and engaged community around S&C’s brand by initiating and moderating discussions on various online platforms. 
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Technical Writing, English, or a related field. 
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in digital content creation, including experience writing for social media. 
  • Sound knowledge of digital marketing and social media campaign best practices. 
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to interview, facilitate, and collaborate with diverse subject matter experts and stakeholders, including leadership 
  • Sound organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to deadlines 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization both technical and non-technical and facilitate SMEs and other stakeholders through the lifecycle of projects 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficient in using digital communications and marketing tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting digital content creation for a manufacturing or electrical manufacturing organization.
