What We Need:

Brady Corporation is seeking a seasoned creative thinker with outstanding leadership traits and instincts in both digital and traditional design. This individual is a well rounded creative leader, has a passion for creating seamless experiences, and brings a consumer-centric approach. This individual will lead a team of creatives to concept, maintain and design a wide and ever evolving range of assets, which include emails, newsletters, product packaging, and social/video graphics. You will work with designers, copywriters, DPs, and other creative team members. You will create branded assets within our Healthcare and People Services business and work with the team to strategically activate the customer experience ecosystem. 

What You'll be Doing:

  • Creative Direction: Oversee the creative strategy and guide the organization in conceptualizing and executing visual marketing — including the ability to give inspiring copy and messaging direction to pair with a meticulous design acumen.
  • Project Management: Manage creative projects and truly  “own” the process from start to finish, including developing ideas, presenting concepts and managing execution. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire teams of designers, writers, artists and other creative professionals. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with brand managers, stakeholders and other departments to ensure projects are successful. 
  • Process and Timeline Management: Manage the process, timeline, quality and delivery of creative work. 
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all creative work meets the required standards and aligns with the organization's brand guidelines. 
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of creative strategies that align with the organization's overall business goals. 
  • Mentoring and Development: Provide mentorship and career development guidance to designers and manage team dynamics.
  • Stay Current: Monitor trends in the creative industry and apply them when appropriate.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

  • BA / BS Degree in Graphic Design or a related field of study or similar work experience
  • 10+ years design experience at an agency or in-house creative department
  • Ability to develop and execute innovative and effective creative concepts. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong project management skills to keep projects on track and on budget. 
  • Knowledge of industry-standard design tools and techniques. 
  • Ability to identify and solve problems effectively. 
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions that align with business goals.
