What you’ll do.
As a Content Writer for the American Brain Foundation, you'll craft compelling and persuasive content for various platforms, from marketing materials to donor communications. You'll write, edit, and proof a diverse range of materials, ensuring they are scientifically accurate and aligned with our brand’s voice. Additionally, you'll manage our editorial content calendar, keeping our messaging on track and impactful.
What we look for.
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field is required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in communications and/or marketing editorial content development across a variety of platforms, including digital platforms; experience with fundraising writing; experience presenting complex subject matter to lay and donor audiences is required.
- Experience with healthcare or scientific writing is preferred.
* Equivalent combination of education and experience beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for qualification requirements.
Travel Requirements: Some travel required – approximately 15-20%. Ability to legally travel outside of the United States, particularly but not limited to Canada.
Location: United States - The Foundation’s work environment is identified as hybrid. The position is primarily remote, with a requirement to meet per Executive Director discretion in our Minneapolis office
