Black River Memorial Hospital has an exciting new opening for a Content Strategist in our Marketing Department. The Content Strategist at Black River Memorial Hospital plays a pivotal role in transforming ideas into compelling narratives across various platforms, ensuring a strong online presence and increased engagement. Success in this role is marked by the creation of impactful content that resonates with our audience and contributes to the growth of revenue.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop content and media strategies, incorporating photography and videography, to optimize marketing results and drive revenue growth. 
  • Generate original concepts that effectively communicate our message, incorporating compelling calls to action and conducting testing for optimal messaging and imagery. 
  • Devise plans to effectively deliver and measure messages through various channels, adapting to emerging mediums and technologies. 
  • Craft clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy for diverse mediums, maintaining consistency across all platforms. 
  • Create persuasive writing materials to promote various services, programs, and initiatives, leveraging effective storytelling techniques.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, advertising, or related field 
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of this job 
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational communication skills required. 
  • Ability to contribute, develop, support, and express ideas clearly 
  • Exceptional ability to write clear and effective copy for a variety of audiences and stakeholders 
  • Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet
