At CoVantage we're passionate about giving back and making a difference in our communities. We're seeking a full-time Community Engagement Specialist to elevate CoVantage Credit Union's community presence and expand our brand awareness. In this role, you'll plan and execute impactful events, sponsorships, and partnerships for the credit union and our foundation, while supporting the CoVantage Cares Foundation with board meetings, communications, and fundraising. This position can be filled at our Antigo, Wausau, Neenah, or De Pere branch.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in planning and supporting in-branch and offsite credit union-sponsored events. 
  • Ensure timely and organized event planning to meet deadlines and ensure all parties are informed. 
  • Maintains inventory of event marketing materials. 
  • Distributes content both internally and externally regarding events. 
  • Plans and executes fundraising events and initiatives in support of the CoVantage Cares Foundation. 
  • Tracks, evaluates, and reports the effectiveness of different programs and events. 
  • Provides administrative support for the Foundation.
  • Associates degree in public relations, communications, marketing, education, business development, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience with public relations, fundraising, philanthropy, public speaking, and coordinating of community facing events. 
  • Professional written and oral communication skills, specifically with press releases and similar documents. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to think and express oneself creatively.
