POSITION SUMMARY:

Title – Communications Coordinator

Reports to – Communications Manager

Location – Remote or Saint Paul, Minnesota

Pay Range and Basis of Pay – Full-Time Salary paid bi-weekly (exempt); $65,000 - $75,000. The estimated base pay range for this position may vary depending on location, qualifications, and experience.

HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS BAY WEST CLIENTS:

  • Produce ideas for and creation of marketing content in relation to business initiatives; be a leader for subject matter experts in conveying the right messages with the audience kept in mind 
  • Support design and coordination of marketing materials, draft brochures, coordinate trade shows, manage exhibits and collateral, and produce content for website use 
  • Work closely with the Communications Manager and subject matter experts by directing and/or participating in all aspects of proposal preparation, including team organization, development and collection of data (project descriptions, resumes), technical writing, graphics, document editing, content review, and final document production
  • Respond to team member requests for data and content

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

  • Bachelor degree in communications or related field (e.g. English, Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Writing) 
  • Three or more years of experience in a similar role, preferably with A/E organizations 
  • Expert with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Experience with graphics development using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style guides across all levels of an organization 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, research, edit, and write to meet deadlines on time
