Your role and responsibilities:

We're looking for a passionate and driven Segment Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll lead and implement marketing activities for assigned market segments, ensuring they align with our strategic goals. You'll conduct thorough market analyses using the latest tools to identify opportunities to promote new and existing products, systems, and services. Your efforts will create tailored offerings that resonate with our target segments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and continuously monitoring segment performance. Position Overview:

As the Segment Marketing Manager, you will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications - Drive Products, US. This hybrid role (#LI - Hybrid) offers the perfect blend of remote and on-site work, allowing you to thrive in a flexible environment.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to define strategic marketing plans and support relevant implementation, including communication and support to the business units to translate it into a relevant marketing strategy.
  • Provides support in defining the end-user value proposition and communicates it to the target segment, both internal and external, and drives sales efficiency by ensuring every salesperson possesses appropriate product and tool knowledge, including both technical and sales aspects.
  • Conducts market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, defining product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
  • Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Support the create of compelling marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, making recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications for the role:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with Portfolio Management, Product Positioning, Market Intelligence, Go-to-Market Business Strategy, Customer Insights, Content Management and/or Marketing Campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Stakeholder relationship management and cross functional collaboration.
  • Candidate must already possess a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the United States.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial and/or Automation industries.
