Position Overview:

Johnsonville, a fast-growing CPG company, is seeking a dynamic Brand Manager/Sr. Brand Manager to lead our iconic Grilling Sausage business. Responsibilities:

  • Manage P&L for Johnsonville’s Grilling Business delivering on targets for sales growth, share growth and profit 
  • Own the short term (annual) and long term (3-5 years) strategy and planning for the Grilling Sausage business 
  • Lead brand performance, using data-driven insights to optimize brand positioning, product portfolio, pricing and distribution 
  • Develop comprehensive brand plans, including positioning, consumer and category insights and go-to-market strategies 
  • Partner with the consumer and category teams to turn rich insights into actionable strategies that drive consumer engagement, innovation and business growth 
  • Provide forecast oversight to deliver efficient production strategies that meet consumer and customer demand 
  • Collaborate with key members of the sales team and directly with customers to drive success for both Johnsonville and customers 
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to identify new opportunities

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; MBA strongly preferred

Experience:

  • Brand Manager – At least 3 years of brand/product marketing experience required, ideally with a CPG food brand 
  • Sr. Brand Manager – At least 5 years of brand/product marketing experience required, ideally with a CPG food brand 
  • Success growing brands by elevating existing business to higher levels of performance and creating new growth opportunities 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data and insights to inform decisions 
  • Demonstrated capability translating consumer and customer needs into brand initiatives and programs 
  • Presentation of business results and vision to a broad range of internal and external customers

  • Enthusiastic and inquisitive approach to identifying consumer and customer needs

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel 15% of the time
