Ameriprise Financial Services has an exciting new opportunity for a Brand Coordinator to join our team! As a member of the Brand Management team, this position will be focused on creating stronger brand integration and advocacy on the advisor side of the business and assisting on the corporate side. This includes advisor submission reviews, consulting, training, program support and providing tools and support for advisors and all Ameriprise Financial business lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support advisor focused branding initiatives

    • Co-branding program (review logos to ensure adherence to guidelines, review and maintain business policy documents, track approvals).

    • Stationery program (ensure stationery products are on-brand and support needs of corporate and advisor audience).

    • Maintain brand related content on AdvisorCompass (annual review and updates), and branded material management (work with marketing services to ensure branded materials are available for order on eCatalog).

    • Understand and support the Ameriprise brand guidelines to ensure consistency across the organization.

  • Act as subject matter expert for advisor branding for advisor and corporate partners questions in person, via email and phone. Monitor and respond to the field-facing mailboxes within SLA and review and approve logo use.

  • Consult and provide solutions for business partners and independently complete brand reviews to ensure visual and messaging guidelines are followed for accuracy and consistency.

  • Track and maintain advisor metrics reporting for resources, reviews and consulting across the brand management team.

  • Contribute to firm-wide advisor-focused initiatives as needed

  • Provide back-up for corporate reviews and approvals, including AdTrax brand review.

  • Support leadership in building our brand culture and brand stewardship.


Please note that this position involves daily communication and interaction with advisors, internal business partners, and vendor partners and thus requires strong communication and personal interaction skills.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of brand and/or marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and project management skills in the areas of design, proofreading and editing.

  • Excellent relationship manager.

  • Solid analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.

  • Must be results-driven, detail-oriented and a problem-solver with demonstrated success in facilitating multiple tasks or projects and driving them to completion.

  • Strong client service skills using a high-touch approach with an ability to develop and foster relationships to further promote and build the brand.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing communications in the financial services industry.

  • Experience in advertising or promotions on either the client or marketing agency side.

  • Familiarity with photography and design principles.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $57,100 - $77,100/ year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
