Finance Analyst

FCB Chicago is looking for someone ambitious, smart and dedicated to help assist the Finance team in processing our financial reports, performing analysis, and executing month end close duties.

the position:

  • Generate monthly departmental budget reports from Access Database, analyze reports, and research, follow up, and resolve issues 
  • Perform financial analysis / download data as requested throughout the monthly close 
  • Create and process journal entries for monthly close process 
  • Coordinate Invoice approval and coding with the Departments within the Agency. 
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Ensure SOX compliance as it relates to position 
  • Load forecasting data for all entities into Longview budgeting / forecasting tool & validate data 
  • Provide support to Finance management via ad-hoc reporting and analysis

the personality:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access proficient
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written and communication skills
  • Meets and manages deadlines effectively
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience

the requirements:

  • FCB has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday
