Accounts Payable

The accounts payable position is responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner. This role ensures that invoices are reviewed, approved and paid in accordance with company policies and procedures. The accounts payable person will also be responsible for reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies.

• A/P entry 
• Media A/P entry/reconciliation 
• Credit card media entry/reconciliation 
• Billable time report (weekly/monthly/YTD) 
• Update budget spreadsheets for IT, freelance, ESOP, etc. 
• Pull billing reports and file in client folders 
• Monitor employee time/freelance time entry 
• Monitor accounting email – disperse accordingly 
• Filing entered invoices digitally on network 
• Open job folders 
• Possible assistance of data transfer to QBO

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. 
• 3 years of experience in accounting preferred. 
• Understanding of accounts payable, including billed time. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
