A growth opportunity!  DiscountRamps.com is looking for a Online Marketplace and Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic team! As the Online Marketplace and Partnerships Manager you will lead the company's growth strategy for marketplaces, affiliate marketing and comparison shopping engines. This position reports to the Internet Marketing Manager and is located in our Brookfield, Wisconsin office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Build and achieve the annual budget and sales plans for the marketplaces, affiliate marketing and comparison shopping engine sales channels.
  2. Work directly with the product category merchandisers to expand assortment and increase sales of existing products in these sales channels. Monitor sales channels for opportunities and weaknesses.
  3. Work with internal teams to capitalize on the opportunities and develop strategies to resolve the weaknesses. This should include product pricing, inventory, creative presentation and more.
  4. Produce weekly, monthly and adhoc reports on channel sales performance that includes data analysis/observations and key performance indicators.
  5. Establish long term effective relationships with key affiliate publishers and comparison shopping engine partners.
  6. Proactively look for new marketplaces, affiliate marketing partners and comparison shopping engines to expand into.
  7. Work closely with the IT department to optimize the marketing feeds to increase sales and improve listing penetration.
  8. Present recaps and updates to executive management.
  9. Seek out strategic partnership opportunities directly with companies that could offer a mutual benefit (i.e. Harley Davidson, Polaris, and Wounded Warrior Project).
  10. Attend industry events to stay on top of trends, technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  2. Organized, self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners across an organization.
  3. Exceptional communication skills: written, oral and formal presentation; ability to actively participate in senior-level discussions.
  4. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
  6. Highly comfortable with leveraging data to drive decisions.
  7. Results-orientated and willing to shift plans if necessary to meet goals.
