Blake Barit


Blake Barit is a freelance media creative specializing in Videography, Editing, Drone Operation, Color Grading, and on-set production roles. Blake holds an MFA in Media Production from The State University of New York at Buffalo. He has extensive experience in film and video production. An expert storyteller, adept at turning complex topics into brief and compelling stories understandable to a broad audience, he is eager to contribute his skills and creativity to your team. While attaining his degree in Media Production from The State University of New York at Buffalo, he worked as a graduate assistant for Fiege Films on environmentally focused documentary shorts. Additionally, he has worked as an adjunct professor teaching classes in film and video production. This positions him perfectly to provide the oversight and instruction needed for the successful operation of various camera, editing, and sound recording systems. This specific background in production education will enable him to effectively plan, develop, and execute projects with your team.

Currently, he is employed as a substitute teacher for the Madison Metropolitan School District as well as a part-time instructor at Madison College, teaching in the Video Audio and Design Department.

He is open to opportunities in the freelance sector as well as fulltime creative opportunities at production houses and similar business organizations.
